Light up the incense and bring your rosary because the spooky ghosts are coming! The Sims 4: Paranormal Stuff is the eighteenth stuff pack for The Sims 4. These unwanted guests cause mischief and distraction on Haunted Houses, but your Sims can do things to repel them. Befriend Guidry the ghost, who will guide you on how to deal with specters and how to have an easier time living with them. Live with them or get rid of them, your choice!   Some features of the pack:   The Return of Bonehilda – Bonehilda NPC previously showed up in The Sims: Makin’ Magic and The Sims 3: Supernatural. Summon her to help you clean your haunted house, cook and prepare food for your Sims and become your friend. Who would want to stay in a haunted house? Well, Bonehilda certainly could! Paranormal Investigator – These are sims who are experts in the supernatural and paranormal phenomena. This is similar to the Ghost hunter profession introduced in The Sims 3: Ambitions. They have the ability to cleanse your ghastly co-occupants and exorcise ghosts and deities. Haunted Houses – What would make Sims spooky as ever? Well, add a haunted house! This pack features a new lot type under residential lots called a “Haunted House”. This is different from the spooky lot trait in that haunted houses have a host of additions coming from specters who regularly appear at night, specters at first will be friendly and will start to have their moods lowered when not interacted with for a long while or failures when contacting them. Some of them can really get friendly, but some can become mischievous or even fiendishly evil! Meet Ghastly Roomates – Your new-to-you home might be home to someone else, too, if it’s one of the new Haunted House Lots! Appease the mischievous specters to relax in serenity, or let them run amok for scares day and night. The base game The Sims 4 is required to play this DLC. Reviews Even aside from Bonehilda’s return, there’s a lot to like about the Paranormal Stuff pack. It’s old-timey horror vibe and new career path are enjoyable and fresh for The Sims 4 – something that’s impressive so long after the game launched. Depending on your love of all things spooky, your mileage may vary, but if you’re looking to recreate The Addams family in digital form, you can’t go wrong. Gfinity     The Sims 4: Paranormal Stuff is a great example of a Pack, it includes some classic Sims dark humour, and increases the challenge of the game by a fair bit if you let it. It doesn’t come cheap, but for the amount of content and the sheer silliness introduced it may just be worth it. The items are maybe my favourite so far with their witchy charm, and the return of Bonehilda is a welcome one. It is a lot of fun, but may be best suited to spooky Sims with a high libido… TheSixthAxis     While The Sims 4: Paranormal Stuff pack won’t be suited to every Simmer’s play style, it is everything a Stuff Pack should be. The new items are excellent, stylish, and don’t feel too niche to be used outside of the paranormal context, and there is a lot of content included for the price point. But more than that, the new gameplay elements, from the new active career and skill to the Haunted House exploration mechanics enrich the base game significantly and offer Simmers a new way to tell their stories. It’s a ghoulish delight, and welcome addition to The Sims 4 canon. Screen Rant
