Dying Light, The Following is a continuation of Kyle Crane’s story taking place in a vast new area outside of Harran, an open rural countryside brimming with mysterious characters, deadly new weapons, and a new vehicle the highly customizable dirt buggy. Gain the trust of the locals and learn about the secrets of a cult that is seemingly immune to the virus that has ravaged Harran. Explore a new region that is larger than all the base game maps combined, new areas, locations, quests, and characters. Dirt buggy: A new means of getting around the larger and open map it has its own separate skill tree, weapons, upgrades, and over 40+ different paint cosmetics to customize the car, but don’t forget you need to find fuel to drive it. The progression systems for the quests in “the following” are nonlinear meaning you can fully explore the map without worrying about how it affects the story. You will need the base game Dying Light to access this DLC content. Reviews This is the level of ‘DLC’ other publishers and developers should be offering post-release. I’m a firm believer in The Mother and would follow her, and The Following anywhere. More than worth a look-in.
