Immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of the modern suburban network connecting the outskirts of Glasgow with the historic Glasgow Central Station, driving classic electric trains in Train Sim World 2: Cathcart Circle Line.
The history of the Cathcart Circle Line and its branches dates back to the end of the 19th century: the railway between Glasgow and Cathcart Station via Mount Florida was opened in 1866, and the ring through Shawlands Station was completed in 1894. Neilston station was built next, opened in 1903. The tracks from it to Newton station were used for through coal transportation. Although the days of the reign of freight trains are long gone, both branches have survived to the present day as key parts of the Strathclyde commuter network.
Your task is to carry passengers on routes connecting densely populated cities and wooded suburbs of the south bank of the River Clyde with the famous Glasgow Central Station.
Drive ScotRail's recognizable BR Class 314 Saltire-painted trains, also known as "PEP", carrying out transportation between different destinations. Drive trains on routes between Glasgow, Newton and Neilston stations, or take the ring line and travel both clockwise and counterclockwise. Take round-trip flights "from Glasgow to Glasgow", visit Shields Depot and the Neilston station turnaround cul-de-sac.
Play the way you want: climb into the driver's cabin, take the passenger seat, do the work on the route, or just find a good vantage point and watch the passing trains. Implement your own ideas using the scenario planner and the coloring editor. Only you can choose what to do today in Train Sim World 2: Cathcart Circle Line.
Note: To use this content, you must have a Train Sim World® 3, which is sold separately. The features have remained unchanged compared to the original Train Sim World® 2. Compatible with the coloring editor and scenario planner. Share your creations through the Creators Club.
