Set in the year 1942 in Italy after the events of Sniper Elite 3. You will play as the elite marksman named Karl Fairborn. He is an agent of the Office of Strategic Services. Your main role is to assist the Italian Resistance in their fight against the World War Two Fascists. You will get to go to the beautiful Italian Peninsula, breathtaking Mediterranean Coastal towns, huge Nazi megastructures, some dense forests and very beautiful mountain monasteries. Everytime you make a kill using your sniper rifle it will activate the x-ray kill cam. This basically shows you the path of the bullet as it travels from the gun’s barrel to the target’s body. It will show you the person’s skeleton and internal organs being hit like bones breaking and organs rupturing. When an enemy is killed the increasingly active AI will alert the other enemies to be on the lookout for who made the kill. You will be equipped with a pair of binoculars to check on your enemies and will also be able to set traps for enemies.
