Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of The Dragons is a 2D side-scrolling beat ‘em up game developed by Secret Base Pte Ltd a fresh take to the iconic franchise with new roguelike elements. Explore the early beginnings of the young Double Dragon brothers as they take on both new and familiar enemies in this alternate story. Every playthrough is a brand-new experience and a chance to get it right this time, featuring a unique and dynamic level structure, and dynamic difficulty that changes depending on the order of the missions that you selected.   Experience fun tag team action: Choose Two fighters and effortlessly switch between them, giving you multiple interesting strategies for devastating combos, and defensive or offensive moves. As mentioned, you will be able to play through endless possibilities using the dynamic mission select function. The order in which you choose your missions will affect their length, number of enemies, and overall difficulty. At the end of each mission, you can choose randomized purchasable upgrades, or you can also save your money for a revive or a better upgrade later. In total there are 13 playable characters that you can try out at the beginning you will only have Billy, Jimmy, Marian, and Uncle Matin. You can then earn tokens to unlock the other 9 characters each of them having their own unique playstyle, strengths, and weaknesses. The more difficult the level the more tokens you will earn, which you can then use to unlock content from the token shop including characters, tips, and more. The modifier can be used to enter permadeath or even infinite mode. Local couch co-op allows you to grab a friend and clean up the city streets together which supports up to two players.
