Aliens Fireteam Elite is a survival co-op shooter game based on the alien franchise developed by Cold Iron Studios, it’s set 23 years after the events of the original Alien trilogy films, you are a colonial marine stationed onboard the UAS Endeavor, your team received a distress signal to a remote outer colony planet called LV895, but after initial investigation on the planet you realize that it’s research facilities are used to experiment with Xenomorphs and said Xenomorphs has now escaped and has taken over the facilities. It’s up to you and your team to stop these new strains of Xenomorphs from propagating and taking over the entire planet.     While the Alien franchise is more known for its survival horror aspects Aliens Fireteam Elite focuses on a more left 4 dead style of gameplay, a co-operative shooter where you survive waves and waves of Xenomorphs. The base game will come with 4 campaigns, each campaign consists of 3 chapters/levels that typically lasts 20-30 minutes each. The different experiments Weyland Yutani has subjected the Xenomorphs have dramatically altered their DNA, accelerating their evolution, there are 20 enemy types in total including 11 different Xenomorphs, from face-huggers to Praetorians. As a marine, your team of 3 can choose from 5 different classes – Gunner, Technician, Doc, Demolisher, and Recon each class has its own special ability and passive character perks. There are also 30 plus guns you can equip before starting or find while in the campaign with 70 plus mods you can attach to them. If you are feeling brave enough before you can start each campaign with equipped challenge cards that provide you with additional objectives these can drastically change how you play each chapter. Completing these challenges will reward you with more XP.
